It started with a stomach that couldn't tolerate most protein powders.

For as long as I can remember, I've lived with IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome).

Like many people, I wanted to eat well, stay active and increase my protein intake. But every time I tried a new protein powder, the result was often the same: bloating, stomach discomfort and digestive issues.

At first, I assumed that was simply part of using supplements.

But the more products I tried, the more I started reading ingredient labels.

I noticed that many formulas contained long lists of ingredients that weren't actually the protein itself - artificial sweeteners, gums, thickeners, fillers and other additives designed to improve texture, shelf life or sweetness.

I couldn't help but wonder:

Why does something that's supposed to support your health have to be so complicated?

That question became the beginning of Gutheory.
